Thomas Tolman

This past month, President John Mills resigned. Thanks to him for all his work these last few years! John Tolman will act as president temporarily until we can find a replacement for the next few years.

These last two months...

• ... people have spent almost 100 hours working on the home; most of the time has been spent on insulation, which will help with our utility bills.
• ... we've spent 737 hours of genealogy work. We've racked up thousands of hours this year, and we're glad people have taken advantage of the temple cards.
• ... many have visited the home each month, and it's fun to see how excited they are to have this bit of history in our family.

We are working on some more home improvements, some of which should save on our utilities and some are necessary maintenance (like the concrete).

Our next meeting will be the semi-annual meeting. This time, we will not have genealogy training; we will start right at noon, with news from the genealogy front and demonstration of internet tools. Join us on Saturday, Oct 10, 12 PM. Cheers!
